Leaving the house is always an adventure, so leaving to England alone was- so far- the voyage of a life time. Accompanied by my Canon (who is still vacationing abroad), I flew out to the motherland.

Pass time crafts: Memory Scarf and Wood Burning
Just a few projects I've finished during the summer in between work and sleep.
This memory scarf i made out of old t-shirts from everywhere between elementary school graduation to journalism convention shirts.
So I had a thin plank of wood and a burning kit, so I worked on a little thing there.

Photo Essay: "Follow the Signs"
I was driving one day to school when I thought I ran a stop sign. I suddenly became nervous, started to sweat and anxiously looked around to check for cops. It was early in the morning, the sun was barely rising, no one was out and there was no evident danger. I then realized, every day I take directions from all sorts of inanimate signs. I've been conditioned since birth to read and follow the directions. It may not always be evident, or necessary, but we all follow the signs.

FSPA Convention
While learning through seven intensive journalism sessions,
competing in "On-the-Spot" and pre-entered contests,
eating through eloquent banquets,
and dancing through a literally floor shaking party,
loving student journalists have proved they can be pretty silly too.
I wish it could last forever:

Hello, Blogosphere!
This is not my first introduction to the Internet or the blogging world. The titled apostrophe was merely an "I'm back" statement.
In between old, emotional online blogs and hard, paper diaries, I got lost within actually living and not recording. The ironic part is that my life is all about recording. I record history as it is made. I am a journalist, a reporter, a news junkie.
I began this blog for a few reasons. I want to get back in touch with my voice. I want to expand onto the internet, because that's where the timely news is now. And yes, I want to show what I've got and be able to grow a career.
My passion is writing, so now I can share my thoughts on all sorts of topics (mostly journalism considering it consumes my life) regularly. Well, here goes everything.
